Bandai has just outdone themselves with the holy grail of SOCs with this Mazinger Z.
This giant stands at about 12" tall and will be my tallest chogokin robots that I own.
The packaging of this item is huge and it's heavy. Nicely protected with a carton box and everything is housed neatly in black boxes.
Literature includes manual and some other promotional items along with a comic book that introduced Mazinger Z.
The base figure is this internal parts exposed body and this is the only reason that made me buy it.
Hydraulics piston movements at the feet. Nice touch. Many of the parts are diecast and that explains the heft.
This central block from the chest is a gimmick center that emits light and produces sound at the push of buttons via a infra-red remote control (I didn't take picture of the controller)
Complete the internal parts maintenance look with the head and hands.
There are 3 options to display this
1. Full internal parts exposed
2. Partial parts exposed
3. Fully covered
I will stop at partial today and will not be featuring the amazing base that comes with this. It will have to wait for the next review.

Yes, it took me a while to decide to buy it. Well, price is simply a reference point.
