Fafner Mark Sieben ... ...

a Fafner mecha from a series which I've never heard of not to mention watching it. For those who follows my blog knows I'm kind of a bargain hunter and snaps things up during cheap sales.

So, this is one of those I've picked up from Taka's Craziest Toy Sale this year and yes, I'm taking photos only now.

Bots of New Era ... ...

These are just too cute to resist... Even when I'm so caught up with work, I've taken time out to pick them up, shoot and share them with you.

This purchase came absolutely unexpectedly as there were no pre-order at all. TFH themselves were not certain that these generated as much interest from collectors.

3A's Bot Sniper Part Duex ... ...

Just remembered that it was the signature post of the rifle tucked behind the sniper that got me somehow interested in this. So, here's a few shots from different angle.

3A Bot Sniper Punter ... ...

What big gun you have! I'm a sucker for huge guns and snipers. threeA has it nailed with this Bot Sniper Punter, a BBICN exclusive.

I'm no expert in threeA's product and this is my first and probably not the only. The heavy weathering effect and cartoonish head sculpt have grown on me.

Foxy Commander ... ...

I've hesitated on getting Commander Fox by Sideshow for the fact that
1. It doesn't come with a phase II helmet
2. No clone head sculpt although his face was never revealed

So why did I get him? Well, it's a Fox!

Finding Nemo ... ...

Have collected Revoltechs by Kaiyodo the moment they released their very first figure and when they obtained the license to make Disney characters; I kinda gave them a miss except Wall.E which is still in its packaging.

Finding Nemo going at 56HKD was too attractive a draw to just buy it. It was on sale at one of the shops in CTMA Centre. I bought Mr Incredible and Sully & Boo as well.

Parrot Drone ... ...

Have always been fascinated by flight and being in control and so owning flying remote controlled vehicle has always been something I enjoy. The AR Drone by Parrot has been around since 2010 I believe and the $400+ price tag is what kept me away from it.

This year, Parrot released AR DRONE2.0 with a HD camera and the ability to flip and absolute control (regardless of orientation).

Angelo Sauper Geara Zulu ... ...

from Gundam Unicorn is a customized Geara Zulu and it's on sale at $35!! I normally do not buy anything else other than Gundam and especially when this so expensive on its own.

Robot Spirit AGE ... ...

A great find while shopping around town when I stumbled upon these at $25 each!!

Except for the last item, Geara Zulu which will be in the next post.

Spirit EVAcuate 02 ... ...

Another Evangelion to add to my already too many collection. Bought this at the most recent Takashimaya Craziest Toy Sale. It must have been really cheap.

Anyway, This is EVA-02 from the movie Evangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance, EVA-02 was slightly redesigned. The head is modified to have what look like oni horns.

Suit-up My Mark IV Gantry ... ...

Hot Toys has done it yet again with another quality product in terms of both engineering and movie detail precision.

The are 2 versions to this release
1. Suit-up Gantry + Limited Edition Mark IV and Mechanical Arm (Stark's first science project)
2. Suit-Up Gantry

I bought the latter; just the suit-up gantry because I already owned a Mark IV.

First Edition Arcee ... ...

Shoot 2 ... ...

of Black Rock Shooter in the day and with corrections.

Black Rock Shooter ... ...

is clearly a genre that is way out of my collection. However, there's this attraction in this figure that drew me to it when I saw the pre-order for this release under Figma.

Perhaps, it was her huge ... ...

Eat Snake ... ...

That's the local slang for skiving on the job. Anyway, it's a Saturday morning. Just purchased Solid Snake from a PS game I played around 14 years back.

Metal Gear Solid (メタルギアソリッド Metaru Gia Soriddo, commonly abbreviated as MGS) is a stealth action video game directed by Hideo Kojima. The game was developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Japan and first published by Konami in 1998 for the PlayStation video game console. It is the sequel to Kojima's early MSX2 computer games Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. The game featured cinematic cutscenes rendered using the in-game engine and graphics, as well as voice acting in numerous codec sequences.
Metal Gear Solid follows Solid Snake, a soldier who infiltrates a nuclear weapons facility to neutralize the terrorist threat from FOXHOUND, a renegade special forces unit. Snake must liberate two hostages, the head of DARPA and the president of a major arms manufacturer, confront the terrorists, and stop them from launching a nuclear strike. (Source: Wiki)

Incidentally, this is the 25th anniversary of the release of Metal Gear and this figure of Solid Snake is under the license of Square Enix of the Play Arts Kai 改 series.

S.I.C Batman & Bat Pod

This item has been in my possession for a couple of years but as always; too many toys and too little time, space and money... ...

Anyway, here it is, unboxed. By the way, it came with a very nice boxart but it's a pity that I had to discard the box.

Superman Returns ... ...

as Christopher Reeves of the original Movie version by Hot Toys. Not exactly a Superman fan but this has to be one of the finest replica of Kal-El

Hot Cap ... ...

finally some free time to take Captain America out. Can't even recall when I had him stashed away in the cabinet. Anyway, here he is. Hot Toys MMS174, Captain America (Movie Version).

Charming Figma ... ...

could well be one of those rare feminine figures in my collection. This is release under Max Factory and the anime about Drossel left me a little puzzled.

Main draw to purchase this is the fact that it has fantastic articulation and it's really kinda sexy.

Batman Returns, 1989 ... ...

not quite but this costume dates back almost 2 decades when I was in secondary school. This of course became a must buy for me bringing back memories of anticipating Tim Burton's Batman on the big screen.

Fett Up Boba ... ...

but since he is released again under Sideshow and this has to be one of the best production; at least for me

Sideshow Sandtrooper Desert Sands Detachment ... ...

is one of the few 1:6 scale troopers that I own and this has been in the packaging for quite some time.

Slize of Dize ... ...

call it a blast from the past if you will but it's really not everyday that I open up a toy and a sense of awe just poured out the packaging. Today, I had that feeling from SOC's release of Grendizer. To be exact, it's a reissue and it came packed with everything (I think).

Viral Factor ... ...

could just be the reason to explain my absence and my reappearance.

Have been really caught up with work lately and it takes Jay Chou to get me to revive an entry.

Gundam Age Normally One ... ...

Somethings really grows on you and I guess once a Gundam fan, there's very little Sunrise can do wrong.

Out shopping over the weekend and picked up some bargain and since it has been quite a hectic few months, I've decided to pamper myself.

Bought AGE-1 Normal and Spallow and AGE-2 Normal.

Chanced upon this Batman from DC Direct's Armory line in Harris one weekend and thought to myself "What the heck."

Iron Man Mark FiVe Strikes ... ...

I'm back after a period of absence as I was sorting out the move and getting things organized. Bought this figure a couple of months back.

Leave of Absence ... ...

as I packed my collection up and ready for the shift to my new place.

The above picture shows only some of what I think was 80 boxes worth of my collection.
