Indeed it has been quite some time since my last entry although I like to say that the buying hasn't stop.
It's Darth Maul from Hasbro's The Black Series.
I've always wanted a bigger scale Darth Maul but Sideshows version doesn't quite do it while I'm not ready to spend the kind of money on a Kotobukiya although it poses a very 'seductive' pose.
Hasbro answered my prayed with this decent articulated 6" version with everything I need... see the pix and you know what I mean.
The figure comes with a cape version with the head stuck to the hood. Articulation is limited here and the light saber hilt fits onto the belt.
Cape removed together with the head.
Articulation is perfect to my liking and I can achieve the Kotobukiya feel that I like.
I think I may have fallen into the dark side with this series.

I like this figure too..great sculpt with good articulation..i didnt buy it as i dont want to go into this series....
Des, this is a great figure for those who doesn't have a better one. Thank goodness I'm not a completist.
I've come to a stage where buying is just what is presented to me; TFH.com isn't a great help in this aspect.
Anyway, I didn't plan to get anything actually but the need to get the car park rebate and the 30% discount just set the stage for this purchase.
Was at the store the second day and only R2D2 left.
