Justice League Batmobile ... ...

Picking up from where I left off... and woah, has it been a year already?

Anyway, the buying hasn't stop but I have been rather caught up with life and has somewhat neglected this aspects of my many hobbies.

In this entry, we have the Ultimate Justice League Batmobile by Mattel.

From the previous entry of Hot Toys's Armored Batman, I mentioned that I don't quite appreciate Ben Affleck's version of Batman. However, the bells and whistles of this toy were just too much for me to reject it.

This is a 1:12 scale model and Mattel has kept it detailed and perhaps this is really targeted for big and old boys such as myself.

The base of the box can be used a display diorama complete with faux rocks.

The main draw of this for me has to be the lights but there is more than meets the eye about this hybrid between the Tumbler, Arkham Knight Batmobile and the Michael Keaton's Batmobile.

Mattel has also included a rather well-made articulated 6" figure that fits into the Batmobile nicely. They have even made the arms with looser joints so it looks like Batman is turning the steering wheel. More of that later in the videos.

Articulation of the figure is good enough for some great poses as seen below.

Below are some close up shots of the various components on the Batmobile.

The battery compartment is located on the left side of the vehicle and it comes charged and ready to be used.

The instrument panels lights up when the light is activated. See differences above and below.

Batman can hold both the throttle and the steering wheel making it authentic.

Mentioned earlier about the articulation of the figure but it has been designed for fitting into the cockpit rather than achieving other more dynamic poses.

Pour the smoke solution provided and the exhaust will emit smokes and more will be emitted when the throttle is engaged.

I may not have watched the movie as yet but I am enjoying part of it with this awesome toy.
