The hunt for Metal Build Red Astray that was released in 2016 has led me to search all available sources for it. I thought I hit the jackpot when I saw a bootleg version of Metal Build known as Metal Club and placed my order. To my dismay, the seller decided to pull the product off the shelf and cancelled my order. Then the search went on and I found Metal Club Red Astray but it is without the flight pack.

BSL Toys KO Version of Peru Kill aka Lockdown ... ...
Lockdown, a rouge mercenary transformer wowed the audience with a huge sniper rifle on his head in the Age of Extinction. Hasbro released a couple of Lockdown but nothing can compare with Unique Toys's Peru Kill. The name given by Unique Toys had me to believe Lockdown killed Ratchet in Peru. No, that was Mexico City.
Anyway, let's move on to today's star, Lockdown with Steeljaws. However, this is not from Unique Toys (UT) as they are completely out of stock. However, there are 2 other knock-off versions from two other toy companies; namely BSL and Visual Toys (VT). Did a bit of research online and BSL's version is closer to UT while VT's version is the cheapest.

Maketoys MTCD-01P Striker Manus and MTCD-05SP Buster Stealthwing ... ...
My patience paid out when Maketoys launched Striker Manus in metallic colour coating and Buster Wing in black. The combined mode is the main reason why I bought them and the review needs to be done together naturally.

Wei Jiang Hide Shadow aka Blackout ... ...
Other than Black Mamba, I have been acquainted to Wei Jiang, another 3rd party making very detailed Transformers figures. I was greatly impressed with what I saw and I had to purchase this upscale Studio Series Blackout.
Black Mamba Star Adjutant and Corvette Assassin aka Starscream and Sideswipe ... ...
Following on the previous post, my other Black Mamba purchases arrived.
I was initially just interested in Sideswipe but then the search brought me to see other Decepticons and led to the multiple purchases.

Black Mamba Bottleneck and Dino-Troops ... ...
During the circuit breaker period, I have been lured to the dark side and this time it's Black Mamba mayhem!
I was just youtubing and saw reviews on very well made 3rd party transformers and then learned that there's indeed more than meets the eye with what's available out there. Although I have been initiated to this breed 1 or 2 years too late, I was able to find abundance of ready stocks on Taobao.
Today, the package came to the door and I had to open them to ensure they are as legit as what I saw.
Above, we have Bottleneck and below, Dino-troops in combiner mode!

Blast from the Past with MTCD-03 Thunder Manus with Divine Armor (3rd Party Replica of Powermaster God Ginrai) ... ...
It has been quite a while since a transformable Optimus Prime figure could get me excited and Michael Bay's Prime kind of have been rather disappointing in the last couple of movies.
However, Maketoys (MT) have made me part my money with this and having a great experience with the Devastator replica by MT, I know I will get quality products for the Thunder Manus.

Mastermind Creations Nero Rex R20N Moritorus Enforcer Face-off!... ...
I was thrilled when I first got my hands on the Nero Rex as I had always wanted a Predaking and this rendition by Mastermind Creations is simply amazing.
One year later, Mastermind Creations released the Face Kit. I suspect it's more accurate representation of the Predacons or better known as Feralcons in the case of Nero Rex.

3rd Party Scorponok by Iron Factory (Lord Scorpion) ... ...
My first contact with Iron Factory, a 3rd Party Transformers maker. Reason why I got this is it reminds me of the G1 Headmaster Scorponok which I sold away years ago.
However, this in terms of size is pale in comparison to the original G1 toy which towers at around 13".

Mastermind Creations Nero Rex R20N Moritorus Enforcer ... ...
Another one of my childhood fantasy is to own the Predaking from the Transformers ever since I watched it on TV in 1986. 30 years later, I have the Predaking, sort of ...
This is Nero Rex the Moritorus Enforcer by Mastermind Creations which is a 3rd party interpretation of the Predaking. There are 2 other 3rd Party versions of Predaking but I find this most appealing. The main reason is the color scheme and a true fan will tell you this is not the original color.
Mastermind Creations did the original color scheme of Predaking which they named as Feral Rex and it is formed by the Feralcons (instead of Predacons) Leo Dux, Talon, Tigris, Bovis and Fortis. I had noticed this in 2014 but it was released one at a time and with priorities on other purchases, I had given these original color a miss.

Devastator Deconstructed ... ...
This is the final part of my review on Maketoys Giant Type-61.
As mentioned in my earlier post that this is not official Transformers product and thus, this guys go by a different name. They are named after their vehicle form with the number 61 attached.

Back Row (from left) : Mobile Crane 61, Dump Truck 61, Wheel Loader 61

Devastator Wanabe ... ...
I had always wanted to own Devastator when I was a little boy and when I can afford one, I was particular about articulation and G1 version just doesn't pass my expectations. Of course, you have all the newer version of the Devastator but I still prefer the green heap of metal carnage of yesteryears.
