Gundam Universe RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee ... ...

It's been a while since I purchased action figure types toys and I gave Bandai's new line, Gundam Universe a try. This line focused on popular Gundams and the Banshee is one such figure missing from my Unicorn collection.

Astray (Metal Build) again in the Blue Frame ... ...

I have always been a fan of Gundam and the series that has my all time favourite mobile suits are the SEED series featuring the Astray Frames. I am particularly interested in 2 of the frames; red and blue frame.

Here we have the Blue Frame (again) which I possessed the MG 1/100 version backed in 2010.

Takashimaya 20th Craziest Toy Sale Part 2 (Robot Spirits Geminass 01 with Assault Booster) ... ...

Continuing from earlier post, I bought my second Gundam at the sale. It is the Geminass 01 with Assault Boosters.

This cost $45 and so you see, it's not as crazily priced as Takashimaya would like us to believe.

Takashimaya 20th Craziest Toy Sale Part 1 (Robot Spirits GMSniperII) ... ...

I have long given up any hopes on getting good deals at Takashimaya's Craziest Toy Sale. I remember those days I actually took leave to be one of the earliest few when the barriers opened.

20 years into the event and I'm not that crazy about it anymore. Orchard Road is the usual weekend haunt and so, my wife and I were there after dinner when we walked into Ngee Ann City and she asked "Do you wana go take a look?"

I did more than a look.

I bought 2 Robot Spirits Side MS Gundams. So, here's the first one. GM Sniper II.

G.F.F Banshee Norn Part II ... ...

Living up to the true spirit of a Singaporean, I shall not rest on my laurels and simply leave things as they are.

I've taken out Banshee Norn for another round of shoots with features I have missed from the earlier post.

G.F.F 1013 Banshee Norn ... ...

I've been resisting the temptation to get anymore Gundam related figures and Gundam Fix Figuration (G.F.F) is one of those I told myself to stop getting as I still have many left unboxed in my cabinets. Then, Bandai came up with G.F.F Metal Composite version of various iconic Gundams. They look fantastic and so are their price tags. Thus, I have resisted well thus far.

Sinanju Spirit Anime Ver... ...

Another Robot Spirits product here is the Sinanju from Gundam Unicorn (機動戦士ガンダムUC(ユニコーン) series, and this one is the Animated Version which is more anime accurate as compared to the earlier release (2011).

On a New High with Hi-v ... ...

Gundam from Robot Spirits. This makes my third edition of the Hi-v Gundam, RX-93-V2, HCM Pro and MG being my other 2 all under Bandai. This just tells you how much I like this guy. It fits the bill of the kind of Gundams I like.

Perfect Testament Gundam ... ...

The Strike and Testament are 2 Gundams from the Seed Destiny series which dates back a couple of years.

 

 

These are both from Robot Tamashii and at $70 per piece, I really don't regard them as toys.

17th Takashimaya Craziest Toy Sale ... ...

and it ends tomorrow. On the first day, which was last Saturday, I just happened to be there as I have totally given up hope in getting anything fantastic from this sale. Anyway, my theory of toy buying is "Don't buy now, regret later." So, if I missed it the first time; it's because I don't like the item that much.

Sangokuden ... ...

also known as BB Senshi Sangokuden (BB戦士 三国伝 BB Warrior Romance Of The Three Kingdoms) is the SD Gundam series for 2007 and the 18th work in the Musha Gundam series. The story and characters are modeled after those featured in the classic Chinese literature, Romance of the Three Kingdoms. However, certain story elements, as well as the names of the Three Kingdoms themselves, are fictionalized.

Bought these at OG Orchard as well at 3 for $10 and I managed to get hold of the three sworn brothers.

A great find while shopping around town when I stumbled upon these at $25 each!!
