Hot Toys Iron Man Mark L and Accessories Set ... ...

Infinity War Iron Man Mark L and its weapons set has been sitting in my toy store for a long time. Time to do a review on it.

It's been quite a while since I was wowed by a Hot Toys product and with Iron Man, there is little Hot Toys can do wrong with it.

King Arts Captain America Civil War War Machine Mark III ... ...

I opted for the smaller scaled War Machine over Hot Toys' offering for obvious reason.

Hot Toys Captain America Civil War Iron Man Mark XLVI ... ...

This post took longer than it should to be published. I couldn't remember exactly when I purchased this and taken photos of it but it doesn't quite matter.

Hot Toys Mark XLIV, Hulkbuster ... ...

This is the most anticipated purchase for the year and it has been a long 2 year wait for its arrival.

Mark XLIV, better known as Hulkbuster was developed by Tony and Bruce as a counter defense against Hulk. It was deployed from the VERONICA satellite in the Age of Ultron when Hulk went under the spell of Scarlet Witch.

King Arts Mark XV Sneaky ... ...

The house party protocol has created so much buzz that other toy companies are giving Hot Toys a run for their money.

I chose King Arts 1:9 scale Mark XV over Hot Toys's 1:6 version for obvious reasons. This is much cheaper and it looks good enough by my standards.

1:1 Scale Arc Reactors from Iron Man ... ...

Owning part of the movie magic is why I'm parting my hard-earned money for metals and composite plastics that may seemed like some worthless toys.

King Arts made a couple of 1:1 scale Arc Reactors and I scored myself the Mark III and Mark XLII.

King Arts Iron Man House Party Protocol's Mark XXII Hot Rod ... ...

Iron Man 3 has unleashed a frenzy release of all the 42 armors of Iron Man. However, Hot Toys's price has been going up north and I believe Mark XXII is an exclusive event item. Thank goodness, there is King Arts.

Everything is fine with this fella except for 2 issues, 1, the right shoulder of my piece seems off with the pegs sticking out too much and 2, King Arts got the forearm weapons wrong.

Hot Toys Mark XLV Age of Ultron ... ...

Frankly speaking, I am growing tired of collecting all the suits Hot Toys or Marvel Iron Man has to offer. They are generally the same but somehow different. This is Mark XLV from Age of Ultron.

The escalating pricing of the Hot Toys product is also any deterring factor for my Iron Man suits fatigue.

House Party is still on with Hot Toys Mark XL Shotgun from Iron Man 3 ... ...

The movie is 3 years ago and Hot Toys is still milking the collectors with the House Party Protocol suits. I am a willing milk cow.

However, I am still rather selective in terms of which suits I get. The Shotgun is one of the those unique suits that I like unlike those mixed and match ones.

The Party Goes On with Hot Toys Mark XXV; Striker ... ...

The 'House Party' Protocol fever is still going on strong and with Hot Toys, things aren't cooling down any further. Not even if the Singapore government implements any cooling measures on this.

Today, we take a look at Mark XXV, codename Striker. In it's brief moment of feature in Iron Man 3, Striker used its only weapon, the jackhammer on his arms.

Hot Toys 1/4 Scale XLIII (They just get bigger) ... ...

Although this isn't my first 1/4 scale but this is definitely my first Hot Toys at this scale.
I had resisted the 1/6 scale Mark XLIII as it is simply a recolored XLII. This suit, however, is fully functional and is in the opening scene of the Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Sen-Ti-Nel Re:Edit War Machine ... ...

bringing back the good old comic book-like War Machine.

I wasn't expecting much as this is my first Sen-Ti-Nel product and I am impressed.

Hot Toys Mark XLI Bones ... ...

is yet another suit from the House Party Protocol. To me, this is like a half-baked XLII, however, the cool factor of Bones is super Hot!

King Arts Display Stand ... ...

Watch out Hot Toys, a new contender has arrived and they too want a piece of the Iron Man pie. I have ordered the 1/9th scale Mark XLII and to complement it, the display stand.

The display stand arrived first without Mark XLII and so I used it on a 1/6th scale Falcon earlier and it worked just fine.

Neither Beast Kingdom nor Lego ... ...

The bootleg markets are really giving legit toy companies a run for their money with the number of unlicensed products they are putting into the market.

Bought these in Taipei and you can find plenty of these around; word of advice, look around, compare prices before you part with your money. They just get cheaper.

Hot Toys Mark XXXVIII, Igor has arrived ... ...

This was first thought to be Hulkbuster suit and it came in red in many of its earlier pictures before Iron Man III was released.

However, it's a big blue boy and it was nothing more than a heavy lifting suit that Tony needs around to build things and hold up falling containers.

Boosting My Collection with Hot Toys Starboost ... ...

Iron Man 3 introduced the world of Iron Man suits on a global scale and Mark XXXIX is just the suit to take Tony to the final frontier!

This is the last of the less than SGD$300 dollar suits from Hot Toys and I may be more selective for future Iron Man suits purchases as the new prices under the Disney acquisition are just making collecting Hot Toys toys too extravagant.

Hot Toys Mark XX Python Repaint ... ...

Iron Man III introduced what a genius and how free and rich Tony Stark is to create suits for various purposes. This obviously opened up the cash register for Disney who owns Marvel now and Hot Toys, one of those licensed company which has been churning out the suits since Iron Man.

The irritating part about Hot Toys is those exclusives that you can get only if you attend conventions which I'm not too keen to spend the time and money for. So, I have to give those that are on sale only during such events a miss. Mark XX Python is one of those.

However, if you study Python properly and you will realized, it's basically made up of various other releases and recolored.

Hot Toys Mark XVII Heartbreaker; Box Office Maker, Dream Taker ... ...

Finally, I am excited about Iron Man made of pure plastic. Hot Toys's Mark XVII from the Iron Man III movie is indeed a heart-breaker if you did not order yours.

Good evening, Colonel. Can I give you a lift?
