Well, there is nothing special about them meet as they are both from the anime Accel World. The unusual bit here is that these 2 are from Max Factory's Figma and Bandai's SHFiguarts. Noting the fact that both companies do both version of the characters.
Accel World is a story of children who escapes into the virtual world taking on various avatars and engages in battles in the virtual world, Brain Burst, a secret program that is able to accelerate the
human cognitive process to the point at which time appears to stop. Brain Burst is more than just a program, but a
Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online (VRMMO) Fighting Game
where people fight each other in fierce duels in order to obtain Burst
Points which can be expended for acceleration abilities in the real
world.
Well, the story of my purchase is again revolving around the word "SALE". I bought this figure some time ago at TFH's recent sale and Black Lotus was chanced upon in Japan and yes, it was a sale item.
Silver Crow is Haruyuki "Haru" Arita who in real life is a short, fat boy who is constantly bullied at
the Umesato Junior High School which results in him having exceptionally
low self-esteem. However, as Silver Crow, he is one of the strongest avatar in Brain Burst. He decides to team up with Kuroyukihime (Black Lotus) to defeat the The Six Kings of Pure Color and meet the creator of the Brain Burst game.
Silver Crow has a humanoid shape with a green
faceplate that he can willing open to eat food. For his body, it is
mostly colored with silver and is armored with silver. The armor covers
most of his body especially around his arms, legs and torso. He also has
shoulder guards as well. His most astonishing feature is the wings that
he can create on his back allowing him the ability to fly. Because of
his ability to fly, he is considered to be the first Duel Avatar to do
so in the Accel World.
Black Lotus is Kuroyukihime, the popular and attractive female
Student Council Vice-President.
Kuroyukihime is one of the main characters in the Accel World series. She is the current leader of the Black Legion, Nega Nebulus and was formerly known as the Black King, but hid after defeating the former "Red King". Her biggest ambition is to reach level 10 and meet the creator of the Brain Burst game, but to accomplish that goal, she has to defeat five other level 9 users who just so happen to be "The Six Kings of Pure Color", the leaders of the six most powerful factions in the Brain Burst world.
Black Lotus's limbs are mainly blade like and the set comes with additional parts to extend her limbs. Everything here is really sharp and pointy.
