This shot took 5 years in the making to compose. When I first experienced Hot Toys in 2009, I had never imagined I will be taking a shot like this.
Anyway, I had wanted to correct the landing pose featured in the earlier post which I felt was a bit off. Iron Man did not land with this left knee on the ground but it was bent but no contact with the ground as seen above.
I am rather amazed with my determination to get this shot done as it took a fair bit of time as it involved all these and the Mark III purchase dates back to 2009.
From top to bottom:
I bought the set of 4 for the Hall of Armor as I know very well I don't have the luxury of space in my HDB (Housing Development Board) flat*. For my non-Singaporean readers, a little knowledge on our local housing policy .
Anyway, back to Tony and the Hall of Armor and this is the Tony from the Suit Test set.
Mark II and Mark III are from my 2010 and 2009 purchase and my first 2 Iron Man suits.
This is the part Tony said "I am the best."
Some thing isn't quite right here as I find the platform a tad too small and I had to get Tony here to see if he agrees.
Oops, Tony discovered the head of Mark IV has been damaged but well, since he is so good at tinkering with stuff, he can fix that.
So, let's try to see if the platform is indeed too small.
Oh yes, it is! Look at the screen capture from the movie.
Let's see, let me try to fit every part of Mark XLII on the topside of the platform.
Well, that's that I guess.
So, there you have it. I have done what I have been thinking to do for many days and finally, I did it. :).

Hi Ziad. As much as I like to assist, I really don't have the time to take pictures of older items. Better luck sourcing online. I'm pretty sure you can find them.
