At Last; Titanfall Atlas by threezero ... ...

The Atlas is an exoskeleton Titan from the Xbox One game titled Titanfall.

"Titanfall is a 2014 multiplayer first-person shooter video game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. It was released for Microsoft Windows and Xbox One on March 11, 2014; an Xbox 360 version ported by Bluepoint Games was released April 8, 2014. The game was highly anticipated as the debut title from developers formerly behind the successful Call of Duty franchise.
In Titanfall, players control "pilots" and their mech-style Titans, and fight in six-on-six matches set in war-torn outer space colonies. The game is optimized for fast-paced, continual action, aided by wall-running abilities and populations of computer-controlled soldiers. Up to 50 characters can be active in a single game, and non-player activity is offloaded to Microsoft's cloud computing services to optimize local graphical performance. The game's development team began work on the title in 2011, and their Titan concept grew from a human-sized suit into a battle tank exoskeleton."

I do not play the game but am sold by this mecha. There are currently 2 companies releasing this. There is the 12" scale version by Square Enix and there is the 20" threezero version which I have got my hands on.

There are a total of 3 Titans featured in the game and Atlas is the one that rules them all for its strength and mobility. This Titan comes complete with a pilot which I will feature more of in the subsequent post. This one will just be Atlas.
Here's a little intro to the Titans from Titanfall and the Hammond Robotics Advertisement below will give a nice introduction.

Now, allow me to show you something more beautiful... (oops, wrong line).

Before unboxing, I like to highlight 2 points.
1. There are 2 options of purchase for this; it's either from threezero store or from retail
2. It's even bigger than Igor.

Within the carton box lies a well-decorated box with very subtle yet beautiful box art. The picture below is the top of the box.

The length side of the box is a picture of Atlas.

The breadth side of the box is a stylized A representing Atlas.

The other length side of the box are profiles of the pilot.

The bottom of the box is a subtle warning and licensing information.

The other breadth side of the box is a dynamic drawing of the pilot and the Atlas in action.

Unboxed and the first items visible are the pilot, some accessories like the hatch door, antenna, R101C carbine rifle (pilot) and the XO-16 Chaingun (Atlas).

The ARC cannon is a surprise and read the disclaimer which is why there are 2 options to the purchase of this product. Those of us who bought from retail stores ain't getting our ARC cannon.

Taking a closer look at the XO-16 and the bipod does work but not the rear stand which is a pity. The magazine drum is also removable.

I do have a neck for breaking things and the pilot fell from my table and the ankle joint broke. Time to take out the glue and focus on the Atlas for the time being.

The Atlas is a sight to behold and it's really all the details that went in to make this as game accurate as possible. Nothing was left out (at least to me) to really make this as authentic as it gets.

The battery compartment is found behind and the switch options allow for either Red or Blue LED lights as a form of IDs during game play to differentiate friendly from foes. It was indicated in the product details of either MCOR or IMC faction but this Atlas has IMC stamped all over it. Furthermore, MCOR comes in weathered green color scheme.

The lights are on and it really brings out the realism of the figure. Notice the IMC print on the front hatch? IMC stands for Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation which was formally called Hammond Engineering.

The front optic spheres and the orb on the top right corner are fully rotatable with the front optics having more range of movements.

Pictures here on will focus on the details of the Atlas.

For safety reasons, the handles are mainly made of rubber.

A little detail here is the hatch that can be locked and opened like the real hatch. It houses the core of the Atlas and damaging this kills the Atlas.

The only gripe I have of this is the top hatch which isn't accurately made. The pilot should be able to enter from here but I think the extend of the LED lights made this a little more tricky to produce. The cockpit below, however, is well made.

Actually, I'm quite happy to just have the XO-16.

Closer looks at the parts and the pistols and joints on this amazing toy.

The picture sequences below is to re-enact the pilot entering the Atlas after summoning it from the drop ship above.

I've added some pictures of the pilot here but I will have another entry more of the pilot after this.

Size comparison and Igor is in fact still smaller in size as Atlas is at 1/12 scale while the Igor is 1/6 scale.

Another thing which I don't quite understand is the magazines on the side pouches of the Atlas. Firstly, they are rather useless and why the molle design when it's something so futuristic. Well, this is one of those things that makes you go hmm.

No doubt about the amazing weathering and quality of the threezero products. They are better than Hot Toys products. Hopefully, threezero can do Chappie in future.

@RobertoAguiluz: Good choice and I heard the new release comes with the ARC cannon, Yes?
My display is mainly back in box. Singapore is rather dusty and I won't want the hassle of dusting my collections every now and then.
I have posted some and one of them is

@RobertoAguiluz: Just found another post that I showed some of my display options.

However, it's now cluttered with boxes in front of the display and I'm back to displaying stacked boxes.
